Lee travelled to Florida on Sunday, for the Honda Classic, which takes place at the PGA National Resort and Spa at Palm Beach, on the Champion Course. He last took part in this event in 2006, when he finished T55th.
Unfortunately, during his week off, Lee pulled a ligament at the back of his knee, but has been given advice by Dr Steve McGregor on how to keep it in check.
Lee had a 7.26 start from the 10th tee on Thursday with Matt Bettencourt and Graeme McDowell. Adding two birdies and a bogey to his card, Lee shot a 1-under 69 and ended the day in T19th place, four shots behind the leaders.
He had a 12.06 tee-time on Friday and carded a round of 71, which included double-bogeys at the 10th and 11th holes for T29th place. He joined Marc Leishman for the third round,for a 70, which moved him to 20th spot.
With Michael Bradley for the final round, Lee birdied 11 and 14, then bogeyed the 17th and picked up a shot at the last for a 68. Two-under for the event saw him finish in T9th position.
Lee remains in the US for the WGC CA Championship, which begins on Thursday. He remains 4th in WR and is 9th in the Race to Dubai.
